Eleftheromania follows the story of Auschwitz survivor Piroska (Academy Award winner Olympia Dukakis) as she tells a story about a group of Greek Jewish prisoners facing a moral dilemma.
David Antoniuk
The David Antoniuk is an award-winning filmmaker with a long career in film and television. He has directed episodes for the Canadian television series "The Ron James Show", "The Next Step" and the web series "The Whole Truths". David's short film "The Strange and Eerie Memoirs of Billy Wuthergloom" won the Award of Excellence at the Award of Excellence and the Best Shorts Film Competition. It is currently being adapted into a feature film. His latest film, Eleftheromania, starring Academy Award winner Olympia Dukakis, sheds light on the little-known true story of the Greek-Jewish prisoners at Auschwitz in 1944.
