There are eight (8) training sessions lasting four (4) training hours with an equal number of workshops in the classroom. The trainees participate every month in an educational meeting, are initiated in the study of photographic codes and techniques and in the creation of photographic products. They then transfer the acquired knowledge and skills to the school environment, creating a photo workshop per month in the classroom for their students. The students per month photographically capture the proposed concept and at school class level they post on an electronic platform a number of selected photographs. As a final deliverable project, teachers and students of the classroom, write scripts and create photo stories. The posted photo-stories are evaluated by the participants with specific criteria-indicators.
The objectives of the Program are: (a) Acquisition of knowledge on how photographic products are created (use of tools, acquaintance and familiarization with photographic terms and techniques, such as stage, frame, shot, angle of shooting, through playful activities, first photographs by the children of their loved ones, pets, objects). (b) Ability to modify the messages created by professionals (approach a variety of photographs at school, visit to photographic studios and photography museums, acquaintance with the expressive possibilities of photography, commentary on concepts, methods and expressive means, interventions / interventions in photographs, photographic reviews and photographic advertisements). (c) Creation of photographic "texts" and photographic products (photo-script writing, illustration of short stories, photographic advertisements, audiovisual photographic presentations, etc.). The duration of the program is nine (9) months and the training hours 300. The content is divided into eight (8) face-to-face or synchronous remote meetings or by applying a mixed model of training meetings. Duration of training session four (4) training hours.

Educational and training material is provided in electronic form (asynchronous training platform). At the same time, full educational support is provided, given that the trainee can address electronically (for the duration of each course) to his/her trainer, through an integrated electronic communication system, for the immediate resolution of questions related to the thematic units and the assessment exercises or the final assignment.
The Program has the characteristics of ingenuity (variety of educational methods and materials), functionality and adaptability (ability in the educational of target choices, material / content and methods). Therefore, the conditions for the selection of different learning styles and the different possibilities of access to knowledge are provided.

Participation is considered successful and the Certificate of Participation is issued when the trainee:
(a) Participate in the distance training sessions. Maximum permissible absence of one (1) Session.
(b) Implement all the foreseen workshops in the classroom and submit-post the deliverables of each application by the next session.
(c) Prepare and post a final paper which will be positively evaluated by the trainer.
(d) Complete a programme evaluation questionnaire.
(A) With regard to the assessment of the acquired skills of students at the level of the implementation of the school class, the following will be used: 1. Implementation of an evaluation activity after the implementation of the monthly workshop (in total eight evaluative activities will be implemented). 2. Evaluation of the deliverable photos of the students.
(B) As far as the evaluation of the Programme is concerned, the following will be used: 1. Questionnaire to teachers and 2. Interview with teachers (semi-structured interview). The Program will be evaluated: (a) as to the feasibility of the implementation, (b) as to the degree of participation and expression of interest by students, teachers and parents and (c) as to the effectiveness of the implementation of photographic literacy activities in the Greek school.
The successful completion of the program leads to the granting of a Certificate of Participation in the program "Cine Graphs - Make a Photo-Story! ", certified by ACTA.
The scientific coordinator of the Program is Stavros Grosdos, scientific associate of the Chania Film Festival, who is responsible for the design and implementation of the educational process.
The trainers of the Program are academics, special scientists, film professionals, collaborators/ideas of the Chania Film Festival with experience in the implementation of film literacy programs.
The general coordination is by Matthaios Frantzeskakis, Director of the Chania Film Festival.
