George Goussis
George Goussis was born in 1986 in Athens and is a comic book creator and director. In 2016 he collaborated with writers Dimosthenis Papamarkos and Yiannis Rangos for the adaptation into a comic book of Erotokritos, the famous work of Vitsentzos Kornaros. The graphic novel was widely accepted and won 5 awards at the annual awards of the Hellenic Comic Academy.
The feature film Magnetic Fields is his first directorial attempt and won 6 awards at the 62nd Thessaloniki International Film Festival, including the Golden Alexander in the Film Forward section, the FIPRESCI Award and the Best Greek Film from the Greek Critics Association.
