Hassan Mokhtari

He was born in Mianeh, Iran. He studied and received his degree as a Software and Translation Engineer in Iran. He is a freelance director, screenwriter and video artist. He lives between Miane and Tehran. He has been a member of the jury in national and international film festivals. He has directed more than 10 experimental short films, video art and documentaries.

His films have been awarded at international festivals and distributed all over the world. His acclaimed films "Mutual Coffin" and "Dancing With Rainbow" participated in more than 30 festivals around the world. "Dancing With Rainbow" was selected by the BIFF (Qualifying Academy Film Festival) for the 2021 Finalist and selected as one of the Best Short Documentaries in Calcasieu, United States.
