Modular film, consisting of autonomous stories with a common theme of the behavior of Greeks when they are under foreign yoke. An independent production that Iakovos Kambanellis co-directed with his brother George Kampanellis, actor and producer of the film, was screened for a month and then banned by the junta, but after viewers understood the film's indirect references to the dictatorship. A film-precursor of the later "cinema of the creator" and the most beloved of Kampanellis himself, as in it he was able to freely develop his artistic vision.
