Summary:

Folk poets, singers, writers and academics present the poetic form of mantinada, the process of its creation and transmission, as well as its role in the living cultural reality of Crete. The Cretan mantinada will soon be inscribed in the National Catalogue of Intangible Cultural Heritagenomiles.

He studied Law & Film History and holds an M.A. in Cultural Management. Director of the Cretan Open-Air Museum "LYCHNOSTATIS" since 1992. He has published the poetry books "Image Subscriber" (2005, Gavriilidis Publications) and "Too much, Much Less" (2019, Govosti Publications) and has directed. 4 short films and has become a producer on a few more.
