Summary:
An absurd comedy about a lonely man who lives inside an old clock. Every hour it is tied and ejected through the doors of the watch. "Cuckoo!" shouts "Cuckoo!" His work is vital. The old lady sitting under the clock must take her medication as soon as the clock strikes. One day the man has the opportunity to win a considerable amount of money in a quiz on the radio. She loves gadgets and wants to buy a new computer. The only problem is that he can only call at the time he should be at his place.
Jörgen Scholtens
Jörgen Scholtens (born 1986) is an actor and director. He began his professional acting career when he was just 19 years old. After five years of acting in various Dutch films and TV shows, he assembled a film crew to make his first short film.
In 2018 his film "Masterclass" was named one of the best 48 Hour Film Projects worldwide and screened at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival.
In 2019 he made his first film "KOEKOEK!/CUCKOO!" and was selected at the Dutch Film Festival as one of the best debut films
