Summary:
Australian Jewish artist Ella Dreyfus grew up with little knowledge of her family's tragic losses in the Holocaust. She sets out to uncover their story through her uncle George in Melbourne and cousin Jonathan in Berlin, while finding her own way to reconnect with Germany.
Ella Dreyfus
Ella Dreyfus is an Australian visual artist and academic at the National Art School in Sydney, with a PhD in Fine Arts from the University of New South Wales. She is an award-winning artist with exhibitions in Germany, France, Canada and Australia and her exhibition Walking in Wiesbaden was held at the Aktives Museum Spiegelgasse, Wiesbaden in 2017. Dreyfus Drei is her first documentary film.
