Alexandros Rellos

Alexandros Rellos graduated from the School of Fine Arts, Film Department, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in July 2020 with a commendation of excellence. In the last six years, he has written and directed, in addition to some online commercials, six short films that have participated in National and International Festivals (Drama International Short Film Festival, Los Angeles Awards, etc.). In 2018 he wrote, directed and produced the documentary TV series "What Fasi?" which aired on Hellenic Parliament TV for the season 2018-2019 and two episodes were also screened at the 21st Thessaloniki Documentary Festival. His short film script "TolisLive or (Toronto)" was awarded by the Hellenic Film Academy in the program of the Short Film Fund and was co-produced by COSMOTE TV (Cable Television Network). The completed film is expected to premiere in spring and has already been nominated for IRIS Best Student Short Film by the Greek Film Academy. In addition, the director was selected at Sarajevo Talents 2020.
She also received a scholarship from the Aristotle University during February-November 2017 and from January to June 2018 in Primary Education, she taught the Basics of Cinema. His previous studies include Acting and Theatre Theory at the National Theatre of Northern Greece (July-September 2015), which led him to participate as an actor in many short films and in the 90th anniversary TV spot of AUTh. In conclusion, he has participated in the 1st International Film Conference on Greek Cinema: The Unknown Greek Cinema and has worked as a film critic on the official blog of the 57th International Festival Thessaloniki Cinema and as a writer at Exostis-Free Press.
