Kyriakos Hatzimichaelides

He was born in 1963 in Thessaloniki and studied Cinema, Theater, Photography.
Since 1985 he has been working in cinema through most departments dealing with film production (Script – Direction – Production – Distribution – Acting). His work focuses on short films and his productions exceed sixty. It contributed to the promotion of the small format through innovative and pioneering actions. He collaborated with great Greek filmmakers (Damianos, Koundouros, Koutras, Glykofridis, Tsarouchas, Koutsomitis, etc.).
He wrote two plays and directed several plays.

He has been teaching film for 20 years.
He was a key member of the association "mikro", an institution for the promotion of short films.
He founded "t-shOrt", a non-profit organization whose main object is the production and distribution of short films and all short theatrical and artistic activities.
