Summary:

Two fishermen accidentally caught a dolphin in their nets. The dolphin in turn finds a fisherman drowning and tries to save him. In this small Mediterranean village, an ancient myth unexpectedly revives.

Isabella Margara

Greek director and doctor, selected at Sarajevo Talents 2021. Her first short film, "54 / The Blind Tortoise and the Endless Sea" (2020), was screened at festivals in over 20 countries worldwide.
Her second screenplay 'Nothing Holier Than A Dolphin' (2022) was awarded by one of Europe's most important environmental organisations as a story that offers exceptional environmental insight. The film had its international premiere in January 2023 at Clermont Ferrand in France, the world's largest short film festival, where it won the International Audience Award.
She is currently working on her third short film, which will be a French/Greek co-production.
