Summary:
A documentary about the preservation of the frescoes from the Zolkos residence on Lesvos, painted by the famous Greek folk painter, Theophilos Hadjimichael in 1928. The conservators who undertook this difficult task share with us the secrets of their work at every stage.
Katerina Efthymiou
Katerina Efthymiou was born and raised in Piraeus.
She has been working as a conservator of antiquities and works of art at the Ministry of Culture since 1996. In her spare time she creates stories, captures images and creates documentaries and animated short films.
Her fairytale "The awake squid, a story about the search for love and affection" was animated and presented in 2016 at the AnimaSyros festival, while in 2017 it was screened by ERT1 and published by Printois Publications.
